About this deal

Reminder: The larger the size of the printed model, the more accurate the number of steps measured and calculated. Though the printer has come from the factory with its belts pre-tensioned there are easily accessible knobs that allow you to adjust the tension if needed. The widened aluminum heat sink paired with the front close-fitting efficient cooling fan for a better heat dissipation effect and lower the temperature of the throat pipe, thereby reducing the possibility of nozzle clogging.

I want to think that Elegoo, or at least someone, is working on a bi-metallic heartbreak for the Neptune 3 Pro. Please refer to the warranty policy below, as warranty periods and warranty rules differ according to the models and parts list.

Had this a few days now and have to say this printer is amazing, it arrived well packaged with clear instructions that are easy to follow and I had it up and running in about 20mins, all the tools needed to assemble the printer are supplied along with a memory card that has a video on how to assemble should it be needed, I have printed a few items including the tool holder and every print so far has turned out perfect. The textured bed did not require any glue stick as a buffer layer and the print popped off as easily as PLA once cool. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. FDM (Fused Deposition Modelling) printers have been found in domestic homes far longer than other 3D printing technologies such as resin based MSLA (Masked StereoLithogrAphy). Consumables (activated carbon) are not warranted, as well as human damage, disassembly is not covered by the warranty.

The power recovery feature will detect this and offer to re-heat the bed and nozzle before resuming where it was before the power failed.

The bridging tests are fine and the overhang only shows signs of struggling at 45º, though it still did achieve it. The 250 W heating bed quickly heats up to 100 °C and thus allows the printing of various high-temperature plastics. The Neptune 3 Max doubles the build volume size of the Neptune 3 Pro, making it the manufacturer’s most giant filament printer. Simply select Level on the main menu and the printer will heat up to 140 degrees on the nozzle and 60 C on the bed. The addition of LEDs turned out to be more welcome than I had expected, illuminating the machine and print to allow for a clearer view of what's happening.

Secondly, it is incredibly thick, much thicker than I feel it needs to be; there is no serious computing horsepower in there (just the standard STM32), there is no battery, and no wireless connectivity, but it is a good 20mm of so thick, for no real reason. The printer takes no less than 47 readings across the entire print surface to create a digital map of the surface which it then uses to adjust the printing height as it moves around the platform.Their is a fleck of red partially though the print but this is the filament used in the factory when testing which was not fully purged when changing the filament colour to the one I was using. The only real downside for the SV06, and this is more of a personal preference for some people, is the screen used. It is mildly frustrating when the size of your build plate limits your options for designing and printing items. The surface on the plate has a slightly textured finish which helps hide the printed lines on the first layer whilst encouraging adhesion when you need it.
