This was so beautifully written, a no frills real to life raw romance book at its best without any over the top drama, the feels and the roller coaster of emotions were felt throughout. Producers can depend on her to understand the criticality of deadlines and a proficient knowledge of the field and industry so that each project is delivered on time and with a performance sure to be remembered. My version of dating has consisted of drive-through dinners, hanging out in bars, motels or at her place, having sex, and then making a quick exit.

I suffer with Jude and Skylar, I laugh and cry with them, I tremble with them hoping for an happyend. and there is Jude a 34 years old man who has a dark past and a lot of guilt, one day they crossed passes and it’s all started from there.But what I really respected is the talent that this author showed in having a taboo topic and having it written in a way that didn’t seem so taboo and I just admire that ability so well. Jude and Skylar’s journey was different and unique, and I was very happy when they managed to reach their hea with a sweet and beautiful epilogue. That is very rare to see in a romance when dealing with certain topics and when an author can make it feel so genuine, it just makes the story shine beautifully. The tussle between their desires and realities becomes gruesome and debilitating at times, only offset by the intense chemistry and witty banter.

I loved the subplots in this book, they balanced the main age-gap romance plot out really well and just made everything feel so realistic – which is one of the amazing things about this book, the ups and down and imperfect nature of their relationship even during the highs.She makes the best out of the crappy hand she's been dealt, but luck has never really been on her side. So when at 50% the 1st one happens, we're then hit with multiple not needed scenes for the next 10% then it settles down again (thank heavens).

Also the fact that this “amazing hero” was close to having sex with another woman, he thought about fucking the other woman while the heroine was in his house and while they weren’t “together, together” they were already married in name. I really enjoyed seeing them in their space and trying to navigate their lives while slowly falling for each other. They had not done anything sexual when I abandoned ship, and I can see this being a slow build towards that direction as they struggle with their developing feelings. Somehow, she’s squirmed her way under my skin, and surprisingly enough, I don’t want to dig her out.
