This smokey smell is a lot stronger on clothes compared to on my skin where the chocolate was more forward.

Although i hate gourmand scents this one is an exception because I love the smell of milk and this one smells like chocolate milk.The base notes add a touch of oriental mystique, with exciting amber and myrrh weaving together with a noble sandalwood tint. There's some sort of dry nuttiness (reminiscent of brazil nuts) as well that I've noticed in other synthetic chocolate scents like Somethin' Special's Chocolate Drizzle. Definitely not a strong sillage but it lasts quite long, it’s about the performance that I expect from a perfume oil. It lasts very long on my skin, I can smell it even 4 hours after I sprayed it and based off the reviews for the 50ml perfume I thought it would be the opposite of long lasting. I had sprayed it on a cardigan, and kept wondering where I was getting a delicious waft of sweet chocolate from, tracked it down to said cardigan days later.

If you don’t want to be overly sweet at the start, i layer mine with my bath and body works in the stars because both have notes of musk and in the stars balances the sweetness of choco musk with added earthy scents. I also see it to be a great option for layering with Dior Homme intense, Ferragamo uomo, orValentino uomo intense to amp up the chocolate qualities of each fragrance. This perfume, although the longevity still isn't spectacular in my eyes, it lasts around 5-6 hours for me with over-spraying (6-7 spritzes). If you like cocoa butter or shea butter type smells, you will definitely like this, but it is a much more expensive, mature smell than that and I think a lot of people who may not be keen on cocoa or shea would still love this. Layered with cocoa butter after a shower, it's a simple, sweet musky scent that seems to attract men.Also worth noting that despite the antibacterial smell this perfume is actually pretty oily and left a light residue on my skin; no oil stains on my clothes as far as I can tell but something to keep in mind when using on more sensitive fabrics or oilier skin types.
