Despite the packaging being of lower quality, the unit itself is well-constructed, and the lights are bright enough to create a beautiful ambiance or party atmosphere. Obviously aimed at children, it shows the projector, constellations on a purple backdrop and a photo of two children looking up at the projector in awe. It's important to check the manual that comes with your star projector before you leave it running for extended periods of time, as some models may become hot after prolonged use. It has two different ends: the planetarium, which rotates and displays stars and constellations depending on which of the supplied domes you use.

It comes with four different disks, all in their own cases, which can be switched in and out of the Night Sky toy, depending on what you want to see.
