But the song "I Give Myself Very Good Advice" and the unsatisfying adaptation of "The Walrus and Carpenter" bring the story to a halt. I particularly loved the cat and mouse game of chase between Alice and the rabbit, the colours are beautiful and the world of Wonderland is like no other. I hadn't read the book prior to seeing the film although it was good to recognise a lot of allusions in the film which have filtered into everyday life.

Walt Disney Classics children's trailer from 1995 with clips of "Mary Poppins", "Alice in Wonderland", "Dumbo", "Robin Hood" and "The Sword in the Stone". To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Disney Stalwart Pat O'Malley sings and acts his way through the film in superb form (T Dum and T Dee, Walrus and Carpenter)and Sterling Holloway is as classy as ever. This amount includes seller specified domestic postage charges as well as applicable international postage, dispatch, and other fees.

The film is set 19 years after Alice's first trip to Underland, and Burton makes use of this fact very cleverly throughout the film.Extras: DVD 9, Language(s): English, Dutch, Belgian, Hard of Hearing Subtitles: English, Subtitles: English, Dutch, Interactive Menu, Screen ratio 1:1. Though a variation to the original Alice in Wonderland plot you will certainly agree that this is a place like no place on earth. Jonathan Millers startingly imaginative masterpiece was shot in black and white, and captures the menacing atmosphere of Lewis Carroll s narrative with a dream-like editing schematic, actors dressed not in costumes but in period clothes, and a jarring, seductive, beautiful score by Ravi Shankar. She loves the part where the rabbit runs around stating he is late, loves the moment when Alice eats the carrot from the rabbit, and becomes smaller, loves the dog sweeping away the path, adores the moon which becomes a cheshire cat. Alice's precise, confused, petulant and adolescent nature is well-captured by the ever-excellent Kathryn Beaumont.
