About this deal

I have often wondered if bizarrly the EDT may suit me better as it may be a little ' livelier' up top and have a bit more of a multi-dimensional vibe, as opposed to the EDP/Parfum which I found very 2D and flat. I get zero fruit of any sort from this stuff, and after about an hour I get nothing except right on the skin a little bit of a carboard scent.

Update: I was recently informed that there are two versions of Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man: France version that more closely resembles a fruity Aventus batch and UAE version that resembles a smokey batch. The scent brought me back to the original Black XS by Paco Rabanne when it was a monster how strong it was. you feel it radiating and most importantly, the ultimate experience is smoother feels more expensive and better. Sillage barely qualifies as medium, lasts just a few hours, better save your money and don't believe the hype about this.

It stays fairly linear from opening to the dry down but with a gradual fading of the punchy citrus and a subtle emergence of hints of the wood and patchouli notes. This was a mostly sleepless night before I even considered going to bed and the dry down was so strong it stuck onto my pillow.

on the positive side it smells really good, is affordable, and it has some really strong smokey Aventus vibes. Update: The fragrance surprisingly lasts on clothes now but the sillage is non-existent, you have to be 3 inches away to catch a whiff, and as the wearer of the fragrance I can't smell it throughout the day. Probably one of my top colognes as rated by her as she described it as her favorite multiple times and she's not afraid to give me her honest opinion as sometimes she seems genuinely pissed at what I'm wearing. I have sprayed this frag on skin and on clothes, staying mostly in an airconditioned environment, but it just does not satisfy. If you were thinking of purchasing a 2019 bottle of CA i would advise you not to as its a complete waste of money IMO.Established that you love this aroma (I say you who's reading, not me), the decisive criterion must be: 1) money available; 2) importance given to performance. An hour in comes the best part - the drydown, which I can describe as a fresh, fruity and smoky scent. The biggest drawback to this vs Aventus is the harsh top notes but It won’t bother you if you don’t stick your nose to it right away and it won’t smell that way to others so just spray and go. My gym buddy even asked me if it today was an Aventus day when she smelled me on the treadmill next to her (she knows that I am into fragrances and her husband wears Aventus so she knows this one). I don’t love this, but not because it’s bad, actually this is propably the most well blended of all the clones.

In my eyes, this is even better than Creed Aventus nowadays and this smells actually how Creed Aventus used to smell back in the days. This review was written quickly after application, so I will have to come back and give an update on performance. The carefully crafted blend of notes creates a harmonious symphony that is both sophisticated and unique.
