Very headachey I can't figure out what it is, since all the notes I saw above in the description are all ones that I like. I usually am not a fan of scents that are heavy on the patchouli but some scents that have it really smell wonderful. It smells different (less sweet, boozier, a bit darker) from the old perfume version with the cubic lid. I should preface this by saying that lately I've been alternating scents like crazy (not all of the scents I alternate are bath and body works) and that I become obsessed with a scent for a small period of time and then move on. I have this scent in the mist and it smells like a peppery champagne with hints of freesia and vague, nondescript fruits.

It captures the universal joy of dinner party toasts, the surprise of unexpected presents and every bit of cheer around…in a fragrance that can be worn in every season. that said, the projection and longevity on this fragrance is not great, even for a mist, so maybe give yourself a couple extra sprays.

I actually disliked this at first since I was in a gourmand phase but now that I’m more floral fruity with a tinge of gourmand I’m leaning towards this a lot more often in my BBW collection. I use BBW hand washes in all my bathrooms, all the time, and I carry the hand sanitizers with me everywhere, so I am familiar with almost all BBW fragrances. However, A Thousand Wishes reminds me of Infusium 23 brand hair products I used in the late 90s and early 2000s so I like A Thousand Wishes though I detect that patchouli undercurrent. At the end of the day, I could only smell it if I brought my wrist right up to my nose, and even then it was only a bare hint.
