Fresh out of the slammer and eager to prove himself on Suge Knight's Death Row Records, 2Pac created the most ambitious album in rap history up to that point. People have said that after pac was released from prison in early 1996, that up unitl then and to his death, that he was in war mode all the time, meaning that his lifestyle was more dangerous due to him being more violent and having no fear of anything, and because of that, in this album (and his last album released when he was alive, 'The 7 Day Theory') you as the listener feel how 2Pac was feeling, and that was anger.

The album, originally released back in 1996, the same year as his untimely death, has gone on to become one of the modern classics of hip hop and includes 'I Ain't Mad At Cha' and 'California Love' among the 27, (yes, 27!

This is one of those songs which Pac did where you just know that he's not rapping for the sake of rapping, and that what he is telling us, is in fact true. In 2020 the album was ranked 436th on Rolling Stone's updated list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. The beat is fasted pace, and is the type of tune that you can play when your out clubbing or at a house party.

Every record is shipped in original factory-applied shrink wrap and has never been touched by human hands. Big Syke performs the second verse, with Pac doing the first and last, along with also doing the chorus.
