So of course in a drunken haze (it was Fashion Week) I barrelled over to her and just straight up asked her how she got over Mick Jagger. However her musings on what people have inspired her look is a treat to read, as she is known for her well-put-together fashion choices and I did always wonder how she looks so effortlessly pretty.But I think it's still worth mentioning as it's the kind of book you'll want to press into the hands of your grandkids and say, "this is what it was like to be stylish in 2013". Sometimes I wish I could live like a man and fit everything I need into a single back pocket but that’s never going to happen and besides, then I would lose out on the daily drama that occurs when I think I’ve lost something and have to tip the contents of my bag out only to discover my phone is in my hand. In case you have not heard of her, yet: Chung is a 34 year-old model who charmed designers everywhere with her lay-down attitude and her extraordinary looks. i don't regret purchasing this book, it's funny, informative and you feel like you're with alexa on buddy terms. I cannot believe this woman lives in a world where she can create this pathetic self-worship, have it published, and have it purchased.The aesthetic quality of the book is obviously important and would be to a fashionista like Miss Chung.

There are parts to IT that did not age well due to its lack of awareness which makes it seem almost too naive.I'd recommend this to Chung fans who are curious about what kind of movies/celebrities/fashion she likes, though I'd recommend going into it not expecting too much. There are a couple of earlier books on my to read list that are written by agents, rather than models: Clyde Matthew Dessner's So You Want To Be a Model from 1943 and John Robert Powers's The Powers Girls from 1941.
