If 48GQ900 was a bit brighter or allowed me to change color temperature in HDR, I would have probably kept it.

Back to the display itself, LG has made some tweaks to make the 48GQ900 a good fit for gaming as well as productivity. The UltraGear 48-inch OLED may look unpractical for day-to-day use, but it’s a lot more practical than something like the Samsung Odyssey Ark (and a lot cheaper, to boot). As it stands right now, 48GQ900 is extremely niche product that you should only consider if Matte and DP ports are a MUST; I thought I was in that niche, but the tradeoff was so great that I eventually decided to stick with C2.
