Flawless is my new favorite Elsie Silver book! This is the first book in Silver's new 'Chestnut Springs' series and I'm here for all the potential books in this one! Especially if we get more of those Eaton boys! Up until 30% of it, I was truly convinced I'd end up loving this to pieces. The quote I put at the start of my review is actual proof that this had potential to be as fluffy and enjoyable as I was promised it'd be. Then there’s the father of our twenty five year old heroine, calling her princess(!) in a professional environment(!!) and telling her who is and who is not allowed into her pants(!!!). If it was a joke I didn’t laugh. Think: starting over. jaded divorced woman. happy fun loving pro bull-rider guy. ice queen meets sunshine king. one night stand. secret adorable baby girl. the SWEETEST Theo Silva daddy moments. a soulmate-level romance. next-door-neighbors. cowboy possessiveness. spicespicespice. creep of an ex-husband meets badass new man. second chances at life. tears. all the feelings. so much happiness. The same goes for Jasper, and how he let's his life play out to this point. His anxiety and internal struggles were touching and moved me and seeing how he fit in with the Eaton gang some more in this book was so lovely. They were just the safest, best, and most loving place for him. So beautiful.i didnt like how the father x daughter “reunion” was handled. it was so rushed. Kip makes one good gesture; then him & Winter start to work things out? too bad we’ll never get to see that part because it happens at the end of the book. 🤦‍♀️ i guess i was hoping for a heart to heart scene of them both. (fr why are all surprise pregnancy enemies to lovers... u hated each other and now ur making it work for the kid? yawn) This book is without a doubt a favorite read of 2022. Rhett Eaton is the bull-riding world's golden boy, or at least he was until some recent bad press that's causing his sponsors to drop him. His agent decides he needs a full-time babysitter, and boy does he have the perfect person for the job. Nevermind that Rhett Eaton is Summer's childhood crush, she's prepared to take on the job. Rule #1. Do not mess with your agent's daughter, no matter how much chemistry there is. And oh is there chemistry.
