me gusto que no hubo un third act breakup!!!!!! hablaron y solucionaron las cosas al toque, LOVE THAT FOR MEEEEEEEEE That is, until he leaves her crying outside her apartment wearing a Halloween costume, having broken it off with her because she’s just not serious enough. She was just fun, he tells her - and now that Richard has becoming a partner at his law firm in his sights, he needs to focus on work. It was a very realistic, NON-REALISTIC book I've read lol 🤡 Some aspects of this book were very relatable, and this book was a perfect balance between cheesy romance and the sad, brutal truth of life! I have a really big rant coming on a serious topic though... Enter a mutual friend with a life-altering idea: swap homes for the holidays. For one perfect month, Greta and Truman will have a chance to experience a whole new world…and maybe fall in love with the partner of their dreams. But all holidays must end, and eventually, these two transplants will have to decide whether the love (and found family) they each discovered so far from home is worth fighting for.

Revenge is a dish best served cold… I never understood why that’s the saying. Especially when everything about this revenge was hot, hot hot! When the relationship starts to become something more than casual dating, and Abbie sees that the tough New York lawyer has a soft side, will she be able to follow through with her plan of deceit? Every day you showed me what I was worth and that I deserved more than someone tolerating my presence. I deserved to be equal in a relationship instead of an assistant to some man. It took one date with you to see you were nothing like I had been told. It took one visit to Rollard’s to know you were a good man. It took one trip home to realize that you and I were something more.” I love Christmas! I love sparkly window decorations, heartwarming holiday movies, and themed coffee. Baby” - 66 - yes he called her baby 66 times, including at least three times on the first date. My personal hell. He also likes country music so maybe this was a clever homage to the Cars classic, Route 66.Their whole relationship starts out as her getting revenge on her ex by getting with his boss which I loved that. And they both weren’t looking for anything serious but as soon as they go out on one date and they sleep together, those “nothing serious” lines get totally blurred. And that suddenness just didn’t work for me here. So she does what every girl does when she’s broken up with: she calls her friends, gets drunk, dyes her hair, and formulates her plan for revenge. It just so happens that the universe supports her efforts and gives her the perfect match to prove to her ex that he made a huge mistake: his boss. Christmas” - 50 - while mentioned half a hundred times, this book was very much not holiday vibes. She just wanted to go to a Christmas party that happened at the end of the book.

That is, until he leaves her crying outside her apartment wearing a Halloween costume, having broken it off with her because she's just not serious enough. She was just fun, he tells her - and now that Richard has becoming a partner at his law firm in his sights, he needs to focus on work. But when the relationship starts to become something more than casual dating and Abbie sees that the tough New York lawyer has a soft side, will she be able to follow through with her plan of deceit?

Tis the Season for Revenge is a contemporary, grumpy sunshine, age-gap, Christmas romance. Why should you read Tis the Season for Revenge by Morgan Elizabeth ? If an author is trying to send a message through a book, I personally much prefer being talked TO than being talked AT, and that's what makes difference here, really. and it wasn’t. glad these two found each other or whatever but they were both uninteresting. i skimmed all the sex scenes after the first one. and why did the end of this book have to have like repetitively awful verbal abuse scenes with the ex?

That should be a good thing. Eggnog and Christmas carols. Mistletoe and family. Except my dad broke his leg hanging the family wreath. My brothers are at war over taking proper care of Dad. Oh, and I just found out our family business, the Kringle Inn is failing! Greta Russakoff loves her tight-knit family and tiny Maine hometown, but they can’t seem to understand what it’s like to be a lesbian living in such a small world. When an act of familial meddling goes way too far, she realizes just how desperately she needs space to figure out who she is. Damien is a dream man. He falls for Abbie on their first date. He had no intentions to, just wanted some fun but he starts calling her his soulmate almost immediately 🥺 I love him. I want him. I need him. Rachel and Jacob haven’t seen each other since they were kids, but their grudge still glows brighter than a menorah. But as they spend more time together, Rachel finds herself drawn to Hanukkah—and Jacob—in a way she never expected. Maybe this holiday of lights will be the spark she needed to set her heart ablaze. Why should you read this book? So what do you do when your boyfriend of four years breaks up with you because your not marriage material? You get revenge! 😂 However, what Abbie does not expect is for Damien to be absolutely everything a woman would die for in a man.He is my new book boyfriend!! 💗
