The 3 'Hits' Albums each got 560,000 Sales added in, from 'The Platinum Collection', the Triple Queen CD, that was Released in 2000. Listening to this compilation, you might be hit with the realization that you were never really getting the full story - that's certainly how it felt for me, anyway. Non ABBA Gold songs includes Ring Ring, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, Eagle, Summer Night City, The Visitors, The Day Before You Came plus the rest of the album tracks and non album B-Sides such as Happy Hawaii, Lovelight, Elaine and Should I Laugh Or Cry. It was released in Europe and New Zealand (with the European track list, and not the previous Australasian track list).

I bought this CD to compare the 1999 sound against the re-mastered 2008 edition of More ABBA Gold which I've owned from new. Pleasing to fans was the inclusion of non-album B-sides ‘Lovelight’ and ‘Cassandra’, which at the time were hard to find on CD.The 2008 version has an over emphasised 'base beat', probably to try and appeal to younger post-Mamma Mia fans who expect a lot of base. S. chart singles, songs like “Eagle,” “Angeleyes,” and “On and On and On” found their greatest success in European markets. The final product ended up with a bit of a split personality, from both the original concept and the idea of a “more greatest hits” album.

Released in 1993, it was the follow-up to the highly successful Gold: Greatest Hits, released the previous year, and went on to sell 3 million copies. imho 'dancing queen' 'fernando' 'chiquitita' and a few othrs boardered on ultra-cheese , although they, like all abba compositions were fantastic pop music. Of the rest only The Day Before You Came, Angeleyes and Under Attack are presented in their original sleeves although to be fair, we didnt get any picture sleeves in the UK until Angeleyes in 79. million copies, [2] Gold: Greatest Hits is the second-highest selling album of all time in the United Kingdom, [3] after Queen's Greatest Hits. I bought this CD as members of my family had recently watched Mama Mia the movie and one of my daughters liked a few songs that were not on Abba gold V(1)such as "I do, I do " and " Last Summer " and they were on Abba Gold Vol(2).I believe that music becomes more intimate if it is based on life's experiences and these two albums always make me think about what might have been. In 2002, Gold: Greatest Hits was released in mainland Europe (though not in the UK) with a bonus second disc.

assistant engineer: Björn Almstedt ( mastering engineer), Åke Eldsäter, Lennart Karlsmyr and Rune Persson ( Engineer) engineer: Michael B. This is a brilliant compilation of wonderful songs, most of them are album cuts or songs which didn't make the original albums they were meant for. Although PolyGram had made all of the original studio albums available (along with the 1986 live album which had originally been issued by Polydor worldwide), all previously released ABBA compilations had been deleted. The album closes with 'The Way Old Friends Do', a kind of song that could be sung before a song like 'Auld Lang Syne' as it has the same uniting pull of that song. For example, total weeks on UK charts of Frank Sinatra are 1064, as this number includes all his albums, starting from 28.The Australian release featured the European track list, not the Australasian track list on the 1999 issue. It was released on 21 September 1992 through PolyGram, making it the first compilation to be released after the company had acquired Polar Music, and thus the rights to the ABBA back catalogue. Just Like That” would only be released as a small snippet on “ ABBA Undeleted”, the last track on the Thank You for the Music box set.

My first copy of this album became defective so I replaced it, so this is a second listening within a couple of days. With the increase of their popularity, their personal lives suffered which eventually resulted in the collapse of both marriages.
