I do wish I knew that this book was very heavy on the vegan seafood cuisine which is something my husband and I really don't like. It’s wonderful to be able to recreate foods from my past and new recipes too in well thought out, easy to follow recipes, with easy to find recognisable ingredients. Imagine a world with limitless vegan options ; a place where anything and everything can be made vegan. I have been following Richard for a good while now and have tried out quite a few of his recipes and they never fail! What I didn't expect was to receive a book not just full of fantastic vegan recipes, but a truly heartwarming story book that made me snort-laugh one minute, then made me all weepy-eyed the next.

Being an experienced vegan cook, I can work around that with some substitute although, I know it definitely won't be the flavour the author created. This morning I tried the 'Vegan Fried Egg', making the 'If it ain't yolk' sauce first and then the egg whites. The author also assumes we can all find certain processed food items but we really can't here in northern ontario.
