I can say that 212 Men don't have much similarities to Stronger With You, Aramni Code (unless that is the whole spicy scent thing) or has a BO feel. I would be insulting everyone's intelligence here if I didn't concede from the beginning that Carolina Herrera's 212 Sexy Men (don't pronounce the H) is highly indebted to Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Male for its inspiration. As the scent matures, the base notes of vetiver, amber, and vanilla create a lingering, sensual trail that leaves a lasting impression.

i sneekingly opened it and i bought it instantly, hey its not the best but it has what i like in it. I love this fragrance from a long time ago, and for me it was an exciting surprise to know my boyfriend felt the same way I. It's a warm, seductive and definately SEXY scent, with a very good longetivity and a very good projection.

The fragrance feels, casual, delectable, elegant, exotic, gentle, inviting, leathery, masculine, modern, nocturnal, sweet, warm, and very pleasant. With top notes of bergamot and mandarin, middle notes of gardenia and cardamom, and base notes of sandalwood and vanilla, this fragrance is super seductive. Sexy Men is often overlooked with Le Male (until the more recent reformulations) and an endless amount of clones that work like Luna Rosa Sport or Cuba Gold. I like it only after a few hours of spraying it, the first 1-2 hours is a headache for me and yes it does have a little scent of body odour to it, i think it smells like old man's perfume during the first 2 hours. I also understand the comparisons with Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Male, but the mint makes "The Male" a much lighter scent, while 212 Sexy is very thick, in my opinion.

My favorite part of this scent is the sandalwood in the drydown and it’s that reason alone why even though I have Cuba Gold,Fujiyama Gentlemen, and Le Male I will still keep this scent in my collection. The opening is a strong and rather standard citrus top, with bergamot and mandarin orange exploding before the vanilla catches up with it 2-3 minutes later, coating it in a rather linear vanilla powder.

Also, I have learned that it is essential to give any EDT some time before being able to give a fair, honest opinion. I was never a huge fan of 212 Sexy because I always thought it smelled like body odour - and it still does. Surprisingly the pyramid doesn't list violet/violet leaf but this, like 212 Men, is a violet fragrance at its core, more so than a vanilla scent.

There is also a very slight freshness in the background, possibly coming from the green notes, that serves to complete the full experience by giving off a sort of chewing gum or mouthwash vibe. The fragrances are an invisible accessory, the final touch, the last detail, the perfect balance between comfort and freshness.
