We know we're watching an old film, filmed with old cameras, and stuff like that is well within reason to exist, even on Blu-ray. The shows were recorded live on January 12 and 14, 1973 at the Honolulu International Center Arena (capacity approximately 6000) and beamed into an estimated billion-plus television sets around the world. Produced by Nick Patrick and Don Reedman and recorded at Abbey Road Studio 2, Christmas with Elvis and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra follows in the phenomenal worldwide success of 2015’s If I Can Dream: Elvis Presley with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (which has sold more than 1.presentation and another subdued sonic affair that is another product of the recording limitations of the time. The 6 CD + 1 Blu-ray box set is comprised of audio from four of the shows and two rehearsals that were part of Elvis’ 1972 North American tour. The track is a hugely musical affair, and its mix beautifully captures the energy and vitality of those many live musical performances. That villain was Elvis's long-time manager known as "Colonel" Tom Parker (Tom Hanks), who selfishly and sinisterly manipulated Elvis and his family out of millions of dollars for his own gambling debts. resolution with the very best of modern cameras, including the Arri Alexa 65 and Lf, Director of Photography Mandy Walker then created special ‘Elvis’ lenses to be used: these lenses were designed to evoke the era, primarily the 1970s, giving an age-appropriate softness to the image and introducing more aberration into the usually pristine images captured.

Detail is quite low, but even with it being an old film and being shot on 16mm, it has been cleaned up so there is nigh a speck that pops up.Produced by Joel Weinshanker, Lisa Marie Presley and Andy Childs, Elvis Presley – Where No One Stands Alone introduces newly-recorded instrumentation and backing vocal contributions from music legends who’d performed on-stage and/or in-the-studio with Elvis.
