The best way to use this stain remover is to pour a capful of it directly into the drum of your machine, right along with your load of laundry. We have more than our fair share of ‘whites’ in this house that are actually a little bit grey. Whilst the majority of the time we remember to separate our whites, there have clearly been times when we’ve forgotten, and as a result, most are more off white than the crisp bright white they started with. Some of the more stubborn stains never seem to disappear. Whoever thought it was a good idea to make babygrows and children’s clothes in light colours is beyond me! Washing up liquid is a solution for this type of stain too; as it’s meant to cut through grease on dishes, it cuts through grease on clothes too. Rub a little bit of the liquid directly onto the stain, rinse with cold water and wash the garment as usual. Or, another solution would be to pre-treat the stain with ACE Stain Remover Spray, leave it for a few minutes, then wash with your usual detergent and 2 capfuls of ACE Ultra for Colours. Grass, Mud and Blood Stains Another option is washing up liquid; after scraping off as much of the crayon as possible using a blunt utensil, work the liquid into the stain, leave for 5 minutes and rinse with warm water. Wash as normal using your ACE products and their school uniforms will be free of stains. Chalk Stains To remove the blood stain, use a cloth or sponge, dampen the stain with water. Apply the powder, leave for 30 minutes then wipe away with a damp cloth.The cans are only 100 millilitres each, which makes them pricey to buy in bulk, but it does not require much of the product to have a substantial, visible effect on stains. This product comes in a pressurized bottle, so be careful not to leave it in a heated environment, or it could be at risk of bursting.
