Description

The grass box is a hybrid of mesh and polyurethane. The top section is solid plastic, and when you are assembling the grass box, you will need to screw the handle on to the lid. On top of the grass box, the catcher is a mechanical fill indicator, so you can see when the box needs emptying. Having this type of blade makes these mowers ideal for collecting leaves on the lawn, and again this Cobra did not disappoint (see video review to see this in action).

Those that want a 41cm cutting width cordless mower that is lightweight and easy to manoeuvre around the garden. One of the things I love about the Cobra MX3440V is its soft foam grip on the handlebar, which makes it comfortable to operate. It’s also a quiet machine, producing only 67 decibels at the operator’s level. Overall, I think it’s a great value for money and I can see why it was an award-winning mower for 2019. Another option is robot lawn mowers. While these do not generally have a mulching feature, they cut regularly so can still be used for mulching. Once set up, they are easy to use and require very little effort. Mulching Mechanism

Take a look at my video review above to see this mower in action as well as unboxing, assembly, full specification, cut to edge and comparison with other mowers such as the Murray, Hyundai and LawnMaster mowers. To give you some guidance on which type of customer would suit this model best, below I’ve listed the categories they would fall under:For anyone who wants a lightweight and no-nonsense mower that still offers an excellent choice of functions, I’d highly recommend this one is on your shortlist. In my Cobra MX4140V review and video, I’ll be taking you through the finer details of this nifty piece of garden equipment so you can see for yourself if this mower is right for you and your lawn. Main Features This is a steady and sturdy option. The NX46SP NX46SP-18 is a robust and durable option at a fair price. It has a generous 46cm cutting width so will take care of larger lawn areas with ease. The 140cc Briggs & Stratton engine has plenty of power. For starters, it’s nice and big, with a 46cm cutting width, but isn’t unwieldy – you can still cut the grass with precision. The mower is self propelled, meaning it’s very easy to use, even during long mowing sessions, and comes with a two year warranty. This hybrid grass box is beautifully strong and durable yet offers excellent circulation, so you really are getting the best of everything. There is a grass comb at the front of the machine that guides the grass towards the blade ensuring an optimum cut that is closer to the edge.

A larger battery, even if it is 0.5 Ah larger, helps the mower to work that much longer on a single charge. And as the battery gets older, you will be grateful for those extra battery cells. Though the brushes of the motor are going to waste some of this extra battery power, to friction and heat. The Cobra is not self propelled, which I have to admit I was a bit concerned about. Many moons ago I had an old petrol mower that wasn’t self propelled and it was the very devil to push! The Cobra feels light and pushes easily. Miss H could easily mow the garden with it and she is eight. If you don’t mind paying a bit more for a quality mower, then Cobra is definitely worth looking at. The Cobra cordless mower comes with seven different height settings, from 25mm to 75mm. If you are like me, you will mainly use the really high one for when you have not got round to cutting the lawn for ages and it’s like a jungle out there! Once lowered though, you can lower it and get a neater cut worthy of Percy Thrower (no? Am I showing my age there?). The cutting width is 41cm (16″ in old money). I would also highly recommend this Cobra MX4140V to anyone who has a slightly more rugged garden. Since it is so easy to move around, thanks to the ergonomic handles and larger rear wheels. It offers increased power when the ground gets a little tougher to mow, so would work excellently in this type of garden.Cobra’s electric mowers are also known to be quite good. They use a lot more plastic on these types of mowers than their gasoline-powered machines, meaning they’re lighter, and can feel a bit flimsy. However, their mowers are still very well made. The metal and polymer construction makes it tough and durable. It is comfortable to use and the handles can be adjusted according to your need needs. This lawn mower comes with a 2-year warranty. The price is reasonable for what you get with this machine. Pros: This will impact the durability of your mulching lawn mower. Steel or alloys are harder and tougher but tend to be heavier. Modern plastics used by some manufacturers are lighter and still durable. The quality of the workmanship is also an important factor to consider. Warranty Hi there, I’m excited to share my review of the Cobra MX3440V cordless lawn mower. I recently had the chance to try out this battery-powered mower, and I was impressed by its convenience and eco-friendliness compared to traditional petrol mowers. With a 34cm cutting width, 35L grass bag capacity, and 7 adjustable cutting heights, the Cobra MX3440V is perfect for my small to medium-sized garden. Its 40V lithium-ion battery provides up to 30 minutes of run-time, and its lightweight design makes it easy to manoeuvre. In this Cobra MX3440V review, I’ll share my thoughts on its features, performance, and overall value for money. Main Features
