The grass box is a hybrid of mesh and polyurethane. The top section is solid plastic, and when you are assembling the grass box, you will need to screw the handle on to the lid. On top of the grass box, the catcher is a mechanical fill indicator, so you can see when the box needs emptying. Having this type of blade makes these mowers ideal for collecting leaves on the lawn, and again this Cobra did not disappoint (see video review to see this in action).

Those that want a 41cm cutting width cordless mower that is lightweight and easy to manoeuvre around the garden.One of the things I love about the Cobra MX3440V is its soft foam grip on the handlebar, which makes it comfortable to operate. Though the brushes of the motor are going to waste some of this extra battery power, to friction and heat. The Cobra is not self propelled, which I have to admit I was a bit concerned about. Many moons ago I had an old petrol mower that wasn’t self propelled and it was the very devil to push! The Cobra feels light and pushes easily.
